WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE FATHER'S NAME?

For centuries, the Catholic and Christian Churches have called the Father in Heaven "Jehovah," and the Son "Jesus Christ." However, the Father's Name does not appear in the original Hebrew manuscripts as such, nor the Son's Name as "Jesus" in the Greek manuscripts.

The Father's Name appears anywhere from 6,100-6,800 plus times in the existing Hebrew manuscripts in its Paleo-Hebrew written form. The Paleo-Hebrew form has four letters which are translated into the English letters YHVH. These four letters are referred to as the Tetragrammaton, a Greek word meaning "four letters."

Among the manuscripts in which the Paleo-Hebrew Name appears are the Dead Sea Scrolls in a portion of Psalms 119:59-64 from the 3rd century B.C.E. Variations of the Paleo-Hebrew written form of the Name are also found in the Lachish Ostracon from the late 7th century B.C.E.; a Moabite Stone from the 9th century B.C.E.; on a rock found in Los Lunas, New Mexico, estimated to have been carved about 600 B.C.E.

So, if the Father's Name appears in the original manuscripts over 6,000 times, and remains etched in stone to be found by archeologists in our time, why haven't the churches revealed the Father's Name to its followers and abided in its use? After all it is the most sacred Name in all Heaven and earth. Why have the churches hidden the Name of our Father? Why have the churches given us a man-made up name to know?

The answer to these questions is found in an ancient religious practice that dates back to Babylon and has been traditionally carried forth to our day and time. Born out of fear and superstition, the priests of the Babylonian religion began to substitute other names and titles for their sun and moon deities believing that if they spoke or wrote the names of their gods that the gods would curse them and bring destruction to their nation. The Babylonian names of their gods were banned from being spoken by the priests and considered to be taboo. Today, we refer to this practice as the "art of ineffability."

In 586 B.C., the Babylonians conquered the Southern Kingdom of Judah and carried off the Jewish rabbis, scribes, nobles, and wealthy Jews into Babylon. While living in Babylon, the Jewish rabbis and scribes learned the practice of the "art of ineffability." In their writings, they began to substitute the Father's Name with Hebrew titles such as "Adonai," "HaShem," etc. The rabbis banned the Name from being spoken, with the exception of allowing only the High Priest to pronounce the Name once a year on a High Holy Day after they returned to rebuild Jerusalem in 536 B.C.E. This annual practice of speaking the Name was then discontinued, the Name abandoned. The scribes, however, were allowed to retain the Name by transcribing it in their copies of the Torah scrolls. In later copies of the manuscripts, Jewish scribes thought to provide dots and marks for vowels to retain proper pronunciation of the Name. So, throughout the centuries, Torah scrolls have had the spelling and vowels marks for pronunciation but the ban against speaking the Name has remained in effect even unto this day in Judaism.

The rabbinical ban created a grave injustice to the Father's Name. When a name is no longer spoken or written for the people to use it becomes forgotten; it comes to ruin like a field that is no longer plowed and becomes full of weeds. Like an unplowed field, the Father's Name came to ruin. It has been unused, unknown, and hidden throughout the centuries by scribes and translators who have substituted the sacred Name with other names and titles like weeds.

In 1611, King James of England gathered together several translators to translate the Hebrew and Aramaic manuscripts, and the Greek copies of the newer manuscripts referred to as the New Testament. During their effort to translate, they followed the "art of ineffability" by retaining the Roman Catholic substitute name "Jehovah" for the Father's Name and "Jesus" for the Son's Name.

The Roman Catholic Church, which basically rose out of the Babylonian religion, uses its own manipulated versions of the original Scriptures. The Catholic monks that transcribed their manipulated versions discarded the Hebrew vowel dots and marks appearing in the Hebrew Scriptures for the Father's Name and inserted Latin letters for the Hebrew word "Adonai." They changed the "Y" sound of the Father's Name to their new "J" sound which was derived from their alphabet letter "I." The monks changed the Hebrew "V" sound which is like a "W" to the "V" sound of their letter "V". Thereby, the monks came up with a new substitute name pronounced "Jehovah" for the Father's true Name of YHVH. It is interesting to note here, that the letter "Jj" did not originate until the 17th century. Thus, the "J" names in the Bible are not the original names or proper pronunciations of the names that existed in ancient times or that are found in the Hebrew or Greek manuscripts.

The King James translators further complicated the Father's Name by using the English title "Lord" as a substitute name for YHVH. So, we have both "Jehovah" and the title "Lord" given in most of our Bibles as the Father's Name. Modern translators have continued the practice of the "art of ineffability" as it has become a religious tradition for them to translate in such a manner, and thus have continued the ban on the Father's Name as well.

"In regard to the divine name YHVH, commonly referred to as the Tetragrammaton, the translators adopted the device used in most English versions of rendering that name as "Lord" in capital letters to distinguish it from Adonai, another Hebrew word rendered "Lord," for which small letters are used. Wherever the two names stand together in the Old Testament as a compound name of God, they are rendered "Sovereign Lord," official translators' statement (revised date 1983) found in the preface of the 1985 copy of  The NIV Study Bible, New International Version.

Today, we are faced with a decision, are we to continue with the "art of ineffability" of the scribes and translators, or are we to expose the practice for what it is, an injustice to the Father's Name, and correct the injustice by speaking, writing, praising, and singing the Name? Let us go directly to the Word to find the answer. With the newly acquired understanding that the Father's Name is YHVH and is pronounced YAHWEH according to the Jewish scribes insertion of vowel points and marks in the original manuscripts, we now have the task of reversing the errors in our Bibles by inserting the Name YAHWEH wherever the false name "Jehovah" or the title "Lord" appears in our Bibles.

Genesis 4:26, "At that time men began to call on the name of YAHWEH (the Lord)," NIV. As far back as Adam and Eve, people knew the Father's Name and openly spoke the Name. The word "men" (Strong's #120/582) means human beings; people; persons not gender.

Genesis 6:9, "This is the account of Noah.  Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God," NIV. Noah walked in the company of the Father; surely he knew the Father's Name.

Genesis 7:1, "YAHWEH (The Lord) then said to Noah, 'Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous,' " NIV. The Father addressed Noah personally; surely Noah knew and used the Father's Name.

Genesis 22:14, "So Abraham called that place YAHWEH (The Lord) Will Provide. And to this day it is said, 'On the mountain of YAHWEH (the Lord) it will be provided,' " NIV. Abraham knew the Father's Name because he labeled Mt. Moriah, the Temple Mount in Israel, after the Father's Name. The phrase "Yahweh or the Lord will provide" is "Yahweh Yireh" in the Hebrew language. The Name Yahweh Yireh apparently remained to be known by the statement in the second sentence of the verse.

Genesis 24:3, "I want you to swear by the name YAHWEH (the Lord), the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you will not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am living, but will go to my country and my own relatives and get a wife for my son Isaac," NIV. Abraham knew the Name and asked his servant to swear by the Name.

Genesis 26:2, "YAHWEH (The Lord) appeared to Isaac and said, 'Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live,' " NIV. Isaac surely knew the Father's Name as he was on Mt. Moriah with Abraham and heard his father call the place of sacrifice "Yahweh Yireh;" Isaac was the sacrifice until the Father in Heaven provided a ram to be sacrificed in his place. Personally appearing to Isaac, the Father in Heaven surely addressed Himself to Isaac using His Name Yahweh.

Genesis 28:13, "There above it stood YAHWEH (the Lord), and he said: 'I am YAHWEH (the Lord), the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying,' " NIV. Jacob certainly knew Yahweh's Name for Yahweh announced Himself to Jacob. More than likely the Father's Name was also handed down from generation to generation during Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob's time. Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel in Genesis 32:28, was the father of twelve sons who became the twelve tribes of Israel. It is not unrealistic to believe that Jacob passed the Father's Name down to his twelve sons and the people of the twelve tribes used the Name. When the twelve tribes went into the land of Egypt to live to escape the famine in their own land, and fell into slavery in Egypt for 430 years, the Name of the Father more than likely came to ruin, was forgotten, and no longer used. However, a curious thing happens on the face of the earth when the Father's Name Yahweh is forgotten and unused. He Himself, the Creator of heaven and earth, eventually pings revival and restoration of His Name to His people.

After the children of Israel spent 430 years in Egypt, the Father in Heaven raised up Moses to be their deliverer. While Moses was in the land of Midian shepherding his father-in-law's flocks, Moses climbed Mt. Horeb and the Father spoke to him through a burning bush in Exodus 3:1-22. After a period of time, nearly 500 years, the Father revealed His personal Name to Moses and gave the command that His Name is to be remembered for all time thereby reviving and restoring His Name to His people once again.

Exodus 3:14-15, "God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.' " "God also said to Moses, 'Say to the Israelites, 'YAHWEH (The Lord), the God of your fathers--the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob--has sent me to you. This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation,' " NIV.

Exodus 6:2, "God also said to Moses, 'I am YAHWEH (the Lord). I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as El Shaddai (God Almighty), by my name YAHWEH (the Lord),' " NIV. In the next verse the Father reminded Moses that he was not the first person to know His Name. However, the translation of the next verse is in error in most Bibles and should read as this:

Exodus 6:3, "Did I not make myself known to them (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), " NIV.

On Mt. Sinai, Moses was given the Ten Commandments. In the very beginning of the Decalogue, the Father states who He is by Name and how He is to be remembered by the Israelites for delivering them from slavery in Egypt. Thus, distinguishing Himself from any false gods that the people might give credit to for their deliverance.

Exodus 20:1-6, "And God spoke all these words: 'I am YAHWEH (the Lord) your God, who pought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, YAHWEH (the Lord) your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of their fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand (generations) of those who love me and keep my commandments," NIV.

In verse seven of the Ten Commandments, a warning is given to anyone that might misuse (abuse; use incorrectly; mistreat) the Father's Name. Some Bible translations use the words "take in vain" which means to have no real value; to render idle, useless, or worthless; to be foolish; to be silly.

Exodus 20:7, "You shall not misuse (abuse; use incorrectly; mistreat; take in vain; consider to have no real value; render idle; useless; worthless; foolish; silly) the name of YAHWEH (the Lord) your God, for YAHWEH (the Lord) will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name," NIV.

To further the warning not to misuse, abuse, use incorrectly, mistreat, consider to have no real value, render idle, useless, worthless, foolish or silly the Father's Name, He advises Moses and the Israelites:

Exodus 23:13, "Be careful to do everything I have said to you. Do not  invoke (call upon; petition for help or support; appeal to; cite as authority) the names of other gods; do not let them be heard on your lips," NIV.

The people of Israel became a nation. Their history that is found in the Bible reveals that during different periods of time, the people failed to keep the Name of the Father on their lips and His Commandments. Eventually, because of these sins, the nation of Israel was divided into two kingdoms, and both went into exile into the lands of their conquerors, Assyria and Babylon. Before the Southern Kingdom was carried off into Babylon where the Jewish rabbis and scribes learned the "art of ineffability" from the Babylonian religion that they were exposed to, Yahweh raised up the prophet Jeremiah to speak on His behalf to the House of Judah warning them of the "art of ineffability."

Jeremiah 8:8, "How can you say, "We are wise, for we have the law  of YAHWEH (the Lord), when actually the lying pen of the false scribes has handled it falsely?" NIV.

The Father knew that the Jewish scribes would learn the "art of ineffability" in Babylon and that His Name would be banned by the Jewish rabbis and later hidden by substitute names and titles. And the reason that His Name was forgotten is due to lying prophets:

Jeremiah 23:27, "They think the dreams they tell one another will make my people forget my name, just as their fathers forgot my name through Baal (Lord) worship," NIV.

The word "baal" literally means "lord/husband." Whenever the nation of Israel fell into idolatry, they worshipped "baals," statutes carved or shaped for every conceivable desire or human need. Each "baal" was given a cultural name and considered to be a god. It was prayed to, invoked for help, and considered to be the ruler (lord) or helpmate (husband) of the individual or the nation. The word "baal" comes from the root word "bel" which means to peak, destroy, ping confusion, chaos, rebellion. Baal worship is found in all cultures, ancient and modern. It continues today in the Catholic Church and all forms of modern religion including Christianity. When we do not worship Yahweh, we unknowingly give worship to "Bel" in his many forms, names and titles that lying prophets, teachers, preachers, and translators have given to us. "Bel" is a front name for Satan, the angel of "religious" light. It is he that devised the Babylonian religion to give himself the utmost praise and worship, and it is he that devised the "art of ineffability" to steal the people's praises from Yahweh, and to hide the Father's Name from His people. Satan knew that this practice or device would be continued by the Roman Catholic Church (which he created) and passed on to the scribes of our present time, the Bible translators. He knew that the "art of ineffability" would ping the Father's Name to ruin, that it would remain forgotten and be unspoken down through the centuries. He was also aware that many, many people would be guilty of misusing and mistreating the Father's Name.

However, our Father in Heaven also has a plan which continually outwits the evil one and his religious devices. The Father's plan is always to reveal, revive, and restore His Name to His people. Through the prophet Isaiah His plan is revealed; it holds true for the time that it was given to Isaiah until today:

Isaiah 52:5-6, "And now what do I have here?" declares YAHWEH (the Lord). "For my people have been taken away for nothing and those who rule them mock," declares YAHWEH (the Lord). "And all day long my name is constantly blasphemed. Therefore my people will know my name; therefore in that day they will know that it is I who foretold it. Yes, it is I," NIV.

Yahweh will go so far as to remove the names of baals from our lips when He revives and restores His Name to His people.

Hosea 2:16-17, "In that day,' declares YAHWEH (the Lord), "you will call me 'my husband'; you will no longer call me 'my master' (Adonai/Lord/Baal). I will remove the names of the Baals from her lips; no longer will their names be  invoked," NIV.

Yahweh will also banish the names of baals, idols from the land of Israel when Messiah returns, and they will be remembered no more. He will deal harshly with those that persist in "baal" "lord" worship.

Zechariah 13:2-3, "On that day, I will banish the names of the idols from  the land, and they will be remembered no more," declares El Shaddai (the Lord Almighty). "I will remove both the prophets and the spirit of impurity from the land. And if anyone still prophesies, his father and mother, to whom he was born, will say to him, 'You must die, because you have told lies in YAHWEH's  (the Lord's) name.' When he prophesies, his own parents will stab him," NIV.

If the reader is familiar with the present State of Israel, he will realize that many idols, temples, and forms of baal worship presently exist in the land. There are Roman Catholic churches and sites, crosses, and diversions of Christian denominations, and Islamic temples and sites, including the Moslem possession of the Temple Mt., all containing the contamination and pollution of the Babylonian mystery religion. One day these will all disappear from the Land of Israel.

Continuing in the Book of Zechariah, Yahweh further states that there will be a day when a "remnant" of believers will be purified and will call on His Name once again.

Zechariah 13:8-9, "In the whole land,' declares YAHWEH (the Lord), two-thirds will be struck down and perish; yet one-third will be left in it. This  third I will ping into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, 'They are my people,' and they will say, 'YAHWEH (the Lord) is our God,' " NIV.

And His Name will be the only Name during the Messianic Reign of the Messiah.

Zechariah 14:9, "YAHWEH (The Lord) will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one YAHWEH, (Lord), and his name the only name," NIV.

Today, the revival and restoration of the Father's Name Yahweh that is taking place in our present time, is a preview or a taste of the last day outpouring of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) that will take place in the Land of Israel just prior to Messiah's return. The Father's Name has been left to ruin, mistreated, abused, unspoken, and ignored for centuries since the formation of the Roman Catholic Church that took place around 300 B.C. when it became the "universal" church or official "world" religion. Since that time, the Father's Name has continued in a "non-existence" state. Sadly, the great time of "reformation" and creation of "Christian" churches neither recovered the Name of Yahweh nor sought to search the Hebrew Scriptures for it. Some recovery of  the Word was accomplished during the reformation but it was also a transition of the Roman Catholic religion into Christianity. The Roman Catholic legacy given to Christianity was the continuation of the "art of ineffability," the Roman "J" names, Sun-day worship (the day that Rome officially set aside to worship its Sun-god, Zeus), and Rome's holidays of Christ-mas and Easter.

Christianity's failure to recover the proper Names of the Father and Son has left its own gaping hole of "ineffability" for approximately 400-500 years in which the traditional Catholic "J" names have flourished in Christian writing, songs, preaching, and teaching error of the Christian Church.

However, prior to the formation of the Roman Catholic Church and its satanic manipulation of the Scriptures and perversion of the Name of the Father and Son, and its legacy to the Christian Church, the Son of Yahweh brought revival of the Father's Name. Scripture bears out that one very important aspect of the Savior's first coming was to reveal, revive, and restore the Name of His Father to His followers.

Due to the rabbinical ban on the Father's Name, the people of Israel no longer knew His Name. The Son of Yahweh came bearing the Name of the Father in Heaven. For it was the Father's time to revive His Name and declare it to the people once again. The Savior came to earth as a representative of the Father bearing the Father's Name.

John 5:43, "I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me;  but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him," NIV.

The Savior personally made the Father's Name known to everyone.

John 17:26, "And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them," KJV.

John 17:26, "I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them," NIV. Notice that the Savior states that He Himself will continue to make the Father and His Name known to believers.

Through the declaration of the Son of Yahweh, thousands were once again restored to the Name of the Father. At the Son's entry into Jerusalem for Passover, the people rejoiced with great joy shouting out the Name of the Father.

John 12:13, "They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting 'Hosanna!' ' Blessed is he who comes in the name of YAHWEH (the Lord!)'

'Blessed is the King of Israel!' " NIV. Shouting in the Hebrew language rather than in English, the people would have shouted, "Hosanna! Baruch haba ba shem YAHWEH. Baruch melech Yisrael!"

The Savior brought revival of the Father's Name because our salvation is dependent on that Name. Acts 2:21, "And everyone who calls on the name YAHWEH (the Lord) will be saved," NIV.

In the Greek, for the above verse the "art of ineffability" shows up. The Greek copies use the Greek word "kurios" instead of the Tetragrammaton YHVH. "Kurios" is a "title" for supremacy that is translated into English as "God, Lord, Master, Sir." But we have established that Yahweh's Name was made known to the people by the Savior. Peter surely would not have addressed the crowd in Jerusalem that gathered at the Temple during the Passover season using the Greek title "kurios," nor would he have stated the verse in English using the words "the Lord." We must understand that the English language was non-existent at the time of the Savior's coming, and that revival of the Father's Name had come to Peter and the disciples of Yahshua, and they were entrusted to use the Name and teach the Name to the people.

The "art of ineffability" has not only hidden and replaced the Father's True Name but through the same satanic manipulation of the Catholic scribes, the Son of Yahweh has also been given a false name. Christianity, as a worldwide religion, has not corrected the error of the Catholic "J" names in its Bible translations, colleges, or pulpit messages. The "J" name of "Jesus" follows the same man made tradition as the Catholic "J" name for the Father in Heaven. It is interesting to look up the name "Jesus" in various dictionaries. Webster's Seventh New Collegiate Dictionary states, "Jesus 1. the founder of the Christian religion - called Jesus Christ." The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language prints, "Jesus 1. Son of Mary; founder of Christianity; regarded as the Son of God and the Messiah. Also in various contexts, 'Jesus Christ,' 'Christ,' 'Christ Jesus,' or 'Jesus of Nazareth."

The point of understanding this is that the Catholic "J" name of "Jesus" has no meaning of its own. The name in itself does not mean salvation nor savior in any language. It is merely another name that the Roman Catholic Church chose to assign to its primary deity, the Roman Sun-god Zeus, following the Babylonian practice of the "art of ineffability."

During the formation of the Roman Catholic Church during the 3rd century A.D., the Roman Empire incorporated many cultures under its rule, including the areas that the fast growing numbers of Messianic believers lived in. To rule such a vast empire which included a number of other cultural religions, the Roman Emperor Constantine, with his mother's help who was an adherent, perhaps a priestess, of the Babylonian Mystery Religion, sought to amalgamate all the existing religions of their realm into one "universal" religion. This amalgamation enjoined the Messianic worship of Yahweh to the new "stewpot" of religions. Out of the "stewpot" emerged the Roman Catholic Church as the "universal" church that encompassed all the cultural "deities" of the former religions. Emperor Constantine realized that the followers of the various religions would not worship Roman "gods" unless his new religion cleverly disguised the Roman deities. By giving new names to Roman "gods," and incorporating various forms of familiar worship, the subjects of Rome would accept the "universal" church. The Roman Catholic Church began in deception and still exists today in its mixture of pagan religions. \

The English name "Jesus" is merely a Catholic name that hides the real worship of the Roman Sun-god "Zeus." In the Greek copies of the New Testament manuscripts, several variations of the word "Ies, Iesous, Ieso, Iaso, Iasus" are Greek names for Greek deities. Thereby, these Greek names of Greek deities create a real problem for Bible translators and Bible readers. The fact is, for any Bible translator to say that these names can be translated into the name "Jesus" presents a bevy of misunderstanding and the continuation of the practice of the "art of ineffability." "Ies" is the abbreviated form of "Iesous" which makes up the name of the Roman god "Bacchus," the god of wine and revelry. "Iaso, Ieso" were names given to the Greek goddess of healing. The name "Iasus" was given to four different Greek deities, including one who was considered to be the "Son of Rhea," the mother of Zeus. So, the name "Jesus" could not have been the Savior's Name. But is a name derived from the names given to pagan Greek gods and goddesses with the Roman Catholic addition of changing the Greek "I" to the Roman "J." Unlike Israelite names that were given to represent an aspect of the person's character or prophetic of their future accomplishments, the Greeks and Romans borrowed from the Babylonian "art of ineffability." In the Israelite manner of naming His Son, Yahweh gave His own personal Name to His Son which included the prophetic accomplishment of His Son's life. He named His Son Yahshua meaning "Yah's salvation or salvation of Yah." The name given to Miriam (Mary) in Luke 1:31 by the angel Gabriel was not "Jesus" as the Bible translators who have "lying pens of the scribes" translated but the Hebrew Name of Yahshua regardless of the Greek name presented in the Greek copies of the new manuscripts.

The Greek scribes also practiced the "art of ineffability" by ascribing Greek names and titles of their gods to the Son of Yahweh. In the Greek copies of the Scriptures, many Hebrew names were translated into the Greek language with some similarity to the original Hebrew names: Yahudah/Ioudaas (ee-oo-dah)/Judah; Miriam/Mariam (mar-ee-am)/Mary; Yosef/Ioseph/ (ee-o-safe) /Joseph; Ya'acov/Iakob (ee-ak-obe)/Jacob. Why not the Father's Name or the Son's Name? Were they hidden or covered up by the "art of ineffability" for a reason or was it done out of ignorance? Unfortunately, who is the one who receives acclaim when names of pagan deities and their translations are used by the people that Yahweh has saved? It can not be the Father in Heaven who has said, "You shall not misuse the name of YAHWEH (the Lord), for YAHWEH (the Lord) will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name," Exodus 20:7, NIV.

If the Son's Name is "Jesus" than why does the Word say that He inherited the Father's Name? Hebrews 1:4, "So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs, " NIV. To inherit another person's name means to be given the same name as the giver of the name. It is crucial to understand that the Son said, "I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him," John 5:43, NIV. Could that "someone else" be Satan, the angel of "religious" light disguised as the Savior? Remember, Peter addressed the crowd in Jerusalem saying, "And everyone who calls on the name of YAHWEH (the Lord) will be saved,"  Acts 2:21, NIV.

In addition to the false name "Jesus," the title Christ also presents a problem. The word "Christ" comes from the Greek word "christos" meaning "anointed." It is the same as the Hebrew word "mashiach" which also means "anointed," and is translated into the English as "messiah." The Greeks used the Greek word "christos" in reference to their Greek god "Zeus." He was considered to be the "anointed one" among their Pantheon of gods. From the Greek practice of substituting names and titles for their gods, the Greek word "christos" become a title for "Zeus."

The problem is that in the Greek copies of the manuscripts the words "Iesous Christos" may allude to "Zeus" being the "anointed one" rather than the Son of Yahweh. We must remember that the name "Iesous" makes up the name "Bacchus" and is derived from the "art of ineffability." The King James translators assumed that the Greek name referred to the Savior, and thus the Greek name and title "Iesous christos" was translated into English to read "Jesus Christ." To be honest and truthful, we can not be sure that the writers of the Greek manuscript copies were speaking of the Father's Son Yahshua and not about the Greek god "Zeus." The Greek manuscripts available for study today are copies, and they differ from one another.

Today, Father Yahweh is bringing revival and restoration of His Name once again to His people. Since the third century, His Name has been hidden, forgotten, abused, misused, and left to ruin due to baal worship promoted by the "art of ineffability" flowing from the "lying pens of the scribes and translators" through the decades. Catholicism and Christianity have both carried on the practice of substituting names and titles for the Father and Son's Names. One can not judge the state of salvation of another nor those that have only known false names before this time. Their salvation remains in the Hands of the Father in Heaven. But, once the Father reveals His True Name Yahweh and the Name that He personally gave to His Son Yahshua, then that generation of believers is responsible to know the Name and speak the Name. This is that generation.

The Babylonian mystery religion created the Roman Catholic Church. The legacy of the Roman Catholic Church given to Christianity included the Catholic "J" names for the Father and Son. Ancient Israel was warned to flee Babylon (Jer.50:8; Jer. 51:6; Jer 51:45), the first century believers were warned that there is no agreement between the temple of Yahweh (God) and idols (baals) in 2 Corinthians 6:16a. They were admonished to, "Therefore come out from them and be separate," says YAHWEH (the Lord), NIV. Revelation 18:4-5 looks to the Fall of Babylon, and commands all believers to come out of Babylon.

"Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to heaven, and YAHWEH (God) has remembered her crimes," NIV.

To leave Babylon certainly means to leave all error and idolatry that stems from the Babylonian Mystery Religion including the "art of ineffability," names, holidays, and theology that even the most prominent religions of our day continue to promote.
