The year 1996 A.D. passed quickly for most people. Nothing seemed too unusual about it. Yet, it was a year that marked a very significant event. It was the year that YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Judgment upon the House of Yisrael came to an end. 1996 A.D. became a year of release for the Redeemed of Yahweh, a time for His people Yisrael to be set free from religious confines and indoctrination. Very few believers are even aware that they were redeemed during a specific period of time set-forth in the Scriptures as Yahweh’s Judgment Period.
The following study will help us to see the Judgment Period from a Scriptural point of view, and how it has affected our lives. It will also answer the question as to why religion has flourished for centuries, and why Yahweh’s people have been so influenced by the teachings of the Church. To begin the study, the subject of idolatry must be understood from the Hebrew concept as expressed in the Scriptures.
THE HEBREW CONCEPT OF IDOLATRY
The Hebrew word “teraphim” means “a healer; a family idol; idols; idolatry; images.” This Hebrew word links the sin of idolatry with a mental condition that occurs in people’s minds when they worship idols. The Hebrew word suggests that idol worshippers are dull of mind; obstinate; stubborn; they have a wicked nature. Therefore, the Hebrew word “teraphim” classifies idols to be not only statues but also mental images: philosophies, fantasies, and imaginations of the mind.
The Hebrew word “atsab” also specifies the physical and mental aspect of idolatry as being “idolatrous image; idol.”
The Hebrew word “shiqquets” also pertains to idolatry. The word means, “idolatry is disgusting and filthy; it is abominable filth to have an idol or to worship an idol; it is a detestable thing.
Shemu’el (Samuel) 15:23 states, “For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and stubbornness is as wickedness and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of YHVH (Yahweh), He also does reject you as sovereign.”
THE SIN OF IDOLATRY
Yahweh’s Judgment Period came as a result of the sin of idolatry. The Scriptures tell us that ancient Yisrael was specifically forbidden to worship idols.
Shemoth (Exodus) 20:3-6 says, “You have no other mighty ones (ba’als; gods) against My face. You do not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of that which is in the heavens above, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the waters under the earth, you do not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, YHVH (Yahweh) your Elohim am a jealous El, visiting the crookedness of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and guard My commands.”
The Hebrew concept that Shemoth (Exodus) 20:3 conveys is that we are not to put anything between YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Face and our face. In other words, we are not to take our eyes off YHVH’s face; we are to see His character at all times. Any other thing or object that we set our eyes on, and place our affection upon will stand between YHVH’s Face and our face. He wants our whole attention, and all of our adoration. To place any object of our affection and adoration between YHVH and us is idolatry.
Carving wood and stone images to represent various “gods” to worship was a pagan practice that was very prevalent in the ancient world. People bowed down to them, and served them. They placed their affection, their trust, and even fear into these idols.
People should also understand that the “eyes” are part of the face. The “eyes” are known to be the “windows of our soul.” The thinking process of our mind is located in the soul. When we place our “eyes” upon an object, our minds, which are closely regulated by our emotions, and our human will, or ability to make our own choices, begin to surround the object for estimation. If the object is found to be pleasing in our sight, or that we may gain something from it, we then choose to set our affection upon it. The emotional pleasure gained from our relationship with the object becomes the object of our soul, the object of our mind. In our minds we set the object up to be pleasing to us; we learn to depend upon it; we begin to devote ourselves to its existence; it becomes an object more important to us than our Creator. We then have begun to love the “created” more than the Creator.
Unfortunately, this human practice of idoatry still exists today. In this modern world that we exist in today, there are cultures that still use carved wood and stone images as objects of their worship. We can find totem poles, necklaces, hamsa hands even in Judaism, hundreds of Hindu “gods” and “goddesses,” New Age trees and stones, and the wood and plaster statues in hundreds of Catholic Churches, and many other objects of man’s religious affections the world over.
Industry and technology of the modern world has also produced a variety of “carved mages” that mankind has placed as objects of affection. Money, cars, houses, TV’s, VCR’s, DVD’s, movies, education, jobs, sports, titles, you name it, and you can claim it to be an object of unholy affection. We have all found ourselves “enslaved” to something that became a “modern” day idol in our lives.
Religion in itself can be an idol, and a very dangerous one. People that have made “gods” out of pastors and teachers, music ministers, church buildings, church memberships, church denominations, Bible translations, false teachings and doctrines, etc., are in the sin of idolatry. One of the biggest and most widespread forms of idolatry today is the use of manmade names of religious “icons.” Most Christians place more importance on the names “jesus” and “jehovah,” and their conjured up religious images than actual Scriptural Truth. The Hebrew manuscripts tell us that the True Name of the Creator of heaven and earth and mankind is YHVH (Yahweh). The information is available to everyone who seeks Truth. Most Christian Bibles convey the Truth about the Name of YHVH (Yahweh) in their preface pages but the translators choose to continue the tradition of covering up the Name and inserting titles for the most reverent Name in heaven and should be on earth. Religious indoctrination that substantiates the use of the manmade names is foremost in most people’s mind. They are so enslaved to the manmade names that to tell them the True Names shakes their religious minds to no avail because they are steeped in idolatry, worshipping the manmade names that they have chosen to worship. They profess the names, bow to the names, serve the names, solicit for the names, and proselytize for the names. Their minds have become dull, and they have become stubborn just as the Hebrew word “teraphim” suggests. Idolatry exists in all mainstream religions, Christianity and Catholicism included.
Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 26:1-3 says, “Do not make idols for yourselves, and do not set up a carved image or pillar for yourselves, and do not place a stone image in your land, to bow down to it. For I am YHVH (Yahweh) your Elohim.
PUNISHMENT FOR IDOLATRY
Ancient Yisrael’s history reveals that the Nation continually disobeyed YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) instructions regarding the sin of idolatry. Due to their willingness to worship idols, YHVH imposed severe penalties for the sin of idolatry upon the Nation of Yisrael.Several Scriptures tell us that the Nation of Yisrael would be removed from their own land to be scattered among the nations of the world where they would become immersed into idol worship of the heathen world. The heathen cultures all worshipped various forms of “sun-gods and sun-goddesses,” each culture having its own names for the “gods” and own form of worship to their “gods.” As part of YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) punishment, the children of Yisrael would become indoctrinated (mentally and emotionally steeped) in worshipping idols as the heathen people did.
Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 26:33 says, “And I shall scatter you among the gentiles (pagans; heathens) and draw out a sword after you. And your land shall be desert and your cities ruins,…”
Debarim (Deuteronomy) 4:27-28 says, “And YHVH (Yahweh) shall scatter you among the peoples, and you shall be left few in number among the gentiles where YHVH (Yahweh) drives you. And there you shall serve mighty ones (ba’als; false gods), the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell (are not alive like YHVH).”
Debarim (Deuteronomy) 28:64 says, “And YHVH (Yahweh) shall scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other mighty ones (ba’als; false gods), which neither you nor your fathers have known, wood and stone.”
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 9:13-16, “ And YHVH (Yahweh) says, ‘Because they have forsaken My Torah (instructions) which I set before them, and have not obeyed My voice, nor walked according to it, but they have walked according to the stubbornness of their own heart and after the Ba’als (false gods), which their fathers had taught them. Therefore thus said YHVH (Yahweh) of hosts, the Elohim of Yisrael, ‘See, I am making this people eat wormwood, and I shall make them drink poisoned water. And I shall scatter them among the gentiles (pagans; heathens), whom neither they nor their fathers have known. And I shall send a sword after them until I have consumed them.”
Nehemiah (Nehemiah) 1:8 says, “Please remember the word that you commanded Your servant Mosheh (Moses), saying, ‘If you trespass, I shall scatter you among the peoples,….”
Thus, the children of Yisrael were scattered into the world of idolaters for a length of time.
A JUDGMENT PERIOD SET IN SCRIPTURES
During Yisrael’s history, the Nation divided into two kingdoms as a direct result of idolatry. Unfortunately, King Shelomoh’s (Solomon‘s) willingness to worship the idols of his many wives took a toll on the Nation of Yisrael.
1 Melakim (Kings) 11:4 states, “And it came to be, when Shelomoh was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other mighty ones (ba’als; false gods). And his heart was not perfect with YHVH (Yahweh) his Elohim, as was the heart of his father Dawid (David).”
1 Melakim (Kings) 11:11 says, “And YHVH (Yahweh) said to Shelomoh (Solomon), ‘Because you have done this, and have not guarded My covenant and My laws, which I have commanded you, I shall certainly tear the reign away from you and give it to your servant.”
As a result of his sin of idolatry, the Nation would split into two kingdoms that would eventually bring forth the scattering of the children of Yisrael into the gentile (pagan; heathen) lands, some to never return to the Land of Yisrael again. YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Judgment Period for the sin of idolatry would begin after Shelomoh‘s (Solomon‘s) reign.
1 Melakim (Kings) 11:29-33 says, “And it came to be at that time, when Yarob’am (Jeroboam) went out of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), that the prophet Ahiyah the Shilonite (of Shiloh) met him on the way. And he was wearing a new garment, and the two were alone in the field. And Ahiyah took hold of the new garment that was on him, and tore it into twelve pieces (represent 12 Tribes of Yisrael), and said to Yarob’am (Jeroboam), ‘Take for yourself ten pieces (10 Tribes of Yisrael), for thus said YHVH (Yahweh, the Elohim of Yisrael, ‘See, I am tearing the reign out of the hand of Shalom (Solomon) and shall give you ten tribes to you (Yarob’am/Jeroboam), but he (Shelomoh/Solomon) shall have one tribe (emerge the Tribes of Judah, Benyamin, and Levites into one tribe under name of Judah) for the sake of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Yisrael.”
Yarob’am (Jeroboam) was made King over the Northern 10 Tribes of Yisrael, and Reha’am (Rehoboam) became King over the Southern Tribe of Yehudah (Judah, the combined tribes of Judah, Benyamin, and Levites). The Northern Kingdom, known as the House of Yisrael, under King Yarob’am (Jeroboam) did an unfortunate thing. Under the King’s orders, the Northern Kingdom instituted a new manmade religion, the mixture of Torah and idolatry. YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Feast Days were changed, the Levitical Priesthood was changed, and the carved images of two golden hap-bulls were placed in two cities, Dan and Bethel, set aside as holy cities of worship. Yarob’am (Jeroboam) reinstated the Egyptian hap-bull idols that represented Egypt’s sun-god which their ancestors had worshipped in the wilderness while Mosheh (Moses) was on Mt. Sinai receiving the Torah from YHVH (Yahweh) in Shemoth (Exodus) 32:1-4.
The Southern Kingdom of Yehudah (Judah) also was guilty of leaving the Torah instructions of YHVH (Yahweh) to worship idols.
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 23: 36-37 states, “And YHVH (Yahweh) said to me, ‘Son of man, judge Oholah (House of Judah) and Oholibah (House of Yisrael, 10 Tribes)! And declare to them their abominations. For they have committed adultery, and blood is on their hands. And they have committed adultery (spiritual fornication) with their idols, and even offered their sons whom they bore to Me, passing them through the fire, to devour (human sacrifice).”
As a result of the idolatrous state of their hearts, the House of Yisrael, the 10 Northern Tribes of Yisrael, ignored the many warnings of YHVH (Yahweh) that He would scatter them into the gentile lands to become like the “gentiles” in their abominations of idolatry.
The Assyrians invaded Northern Yisrael in 734 B.C., and began to deport the children of Yisrael into Assyrian held lands. By 732 B.C., the Northern Kingdom was entirely in the hands of the Assyrians. From the Assyrian lands of deportation, the children of the 10 Tribes of Yisrael would eventually migrate northwards to settle in new lands after the decline of the Assyrian Empire. They would continue to scatter and migrate, and resettle further north until all of the European lands were thriving with generations of descendants of the 10 Tribes of Yisrael.
The House of Yehudah (Judah) would be invaded by the Babylonians in 605 BC, and carried off to Babylon (modern day Iraq) for 70 years. After their exile was complete, a small remnant of Jews returned to Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) to rebuild the Temple. The story of their return is related in the Book of Ezra.
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 29:10 relates the words of YHVH (Yahweh) to the House of Yehudah (Judah), “For thus said YHVH (Yahweh), ‘When seventy years are completed, at Babel (Babylon) I shall visit you and establish My good word toward you, to bring you back to this place,….”
YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) words were fulfilled, the Jewish remnant repented of idolatry, and returned to rebuild the Temple in Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), and to place Torah forever in their midst.
CALCULATION OF THE JUDGMENT PERIOD FOR IDOLATRY
All 12 Tribes of Yisrael were warned by YHVH (Yahweh) that their punishment for the sin of idolatry would be seven times worse, lengthened by seven times.
Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 26:21 says, “And if you walk contrary to Me, and refuse to obey Me, I shall bring on you seven times more plagues, according to your sins,….”
Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 26:27-28 states, “And if in spite of this, you do not obey Me, but walk contrary to Me, then I shall walk contrary to you in wrath. And I Myself shall punish you seven times for your sins.”
The punishment for the sins of idolatry would yield a period of judgment that would last seven times longer than it should, and it would include plagues or afflictions. The Hebrew word “mak-keh” that is used in the Hebrew manuscripts for plagues means “a blow; a wound; carnage; pestilence; beaten; slaughter; smote; sore; stripe; wound.” In addition to these things, the people would be banished from their land and scattered into foreign pagan lands. The punishment for the disobedience of idolatry was to be a seven times severity upon the children of Yisrael.
YHVH (Yahweh) told the prophet Yehezqel (Ezekiel) to lie on his side to show him the exact number of years that YHVH (Yahweh) would punish the House of Yisrael and the House of Yehudah (Judah) for their sins of idolatry.
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 4:4-5 states, “And lie on your left side, and you shall put the crookedness of the house of Yisrael on it. As many days as you lie on it, you shall bear their crookedness. For I Myself have laid on you the years of their crookedness, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days (1 day = 1 year; 390 days = 390 years). And you shall bear the crookedness of the House of Yisrael.”
Because the House of Yisrael (10 Northern Tribes) did not repent of their idolatry during their wandering through the gentile (pagan; heathen) nations, the total number of years of their punishment for idolatry became a Judgment Period of 2,730 years.
390 years x 7 times worse = 2,730 years total time of Judgment upon the House of Yisrael.
Yehudah’s (Judah’s) punishment for idolatry was greatly lessened in the length of years because the remnant repented of its sins and returned to the Land of Yisrael to rebuild the Temple, and reinstate the instructions of Torah.
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 4:6 states, “And when you have completed them (70 years exile into Babylon, Yehezqel was among the Jews that went into exile), you shall lie again on your right side and shall bear the crookedness of the house of Yehudah (Judah) forty days, a day for a year (1 day = 1 year; 40 days = 40 years). I have laid on you a day for a year.”
YHVH (Yahweh) placed cords upon Yehezqel so that he could not turn over onto his other side to show him Yehudah‘s (Judah‘s) punishment time.
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 4:9 states, “….You shall eat it, as many days as you lie on your side, three hundred and ninety days (1 day = 1 year; 390 days = 390 years).”
YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) punishment time for the House Yehudah is calculated as such:
40 years + 390 years = 430 years total Judgment time upon the House of Yehudah (Judah).
The House of Yehudah was not given the 7 times more because they returned to YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Torah instructions.
WHEN ARE THE TRIBES OF YISRAEL TO BE RELEASED FROM YHVH’S JUDGMENT PERIOD?
To figure the time sequence for the release of the House of Yisrael (10 Tribes scattered among the gentile (pagan; heathen) nations), one must subtract the year 734 B.C. when their deportation began, from the 2,730 years punishment time allotted to the House of Yisrael.
2,730 years - 734 B.C. = 1996 A.D. to be the time of release for the House of Yisrael (10 Northern Tribes) from the Judgment for the sin of idolatry.
The House of Yehudah (Judah) can be easily figured too:
596 B.C. (the year Yehudah/Judah was taken captive into Babylon for 70 years punishment) - 430 years total years allotted for punishment = 166 B.C. was the year that Yehudah’s (Judah’s) captivity and punishment ended because they returned to Torah.
596 B.C. - 430 years = 166 B.C. to be the release for the House of Yehudah (Judah) from the Judgment for the sin of idolatry.
Therefore, the Savior was able to come and dwell with the House of Yehudah (Judah) after that period of time because Yehudah (Judah) had been released from its Judgment Period, and had continued to keep Torah in its midst. By superceding the sacrificial system of Torah, He was able to make the Blood Atonement for the lost sheep of the House of Yisrael, and all others accepting His redemptive work, even though YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Judgment Period ran simultaneously with the years after His death for the House of Yisrael.
YHVH WILL KEEP A REMNANT AMONG THOSE SCATTERED
The prophet Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) tells us that YHVH (Yahweh) will scatter the House of Yisrael (10 Northern Tribes) among the gentile (pagan; heathen) nations; he will certainly judge their sin of idolatry, and punish them; He will not totally destroy them.
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 30:11 states, “For I am with you,’ declares YHVH (Yahweh), ‘to save you. Though I make a complete end of all gentiles where I have scattered you. But I shall reprove you in judgment, and by no means leave you unpunished.”
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 6:8-9 states, “But I shall leave a remnant, in that some of you shall escape the sword among the gentiles, when you are scattered throughout the lands. And those of you who escape shall remember Me among the gentiles where they have been taken captive, because I have been broken by their adulterous heart which has turned away from Me, and by their eyes which whored after their idols. And they shall loathe themselves for their evils which they have done in all their abominations.”
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 20:34-37 says, “And I shall bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the lands where you are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out (no longer angry with them). And I shall bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and shall enter into judgment with you face to face there (nothing to stand between YHVH and His People). As I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Mitsrayim (Egypt), so shall I enter into judgment with you,’ declares the Master YHVH (Yahweh). And I shall make you pass under the rod (teach Torah to them), and shall bring you into the bond of the covenant,….”
YHVH (Yahweh) will take a remnant of believers out of all those scattered in the gentile (pagan; heathen) nations; He will forgive them of their sins of idolatry; He will teach them His Torah so that they may worship Him once again.
It is a fascinating thing to see that in our generation YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Judgment Period for the sin of idolatry has ended (1996 A.D.), and a remnant of Torah instructed and observant believers, forgiven of their sins through the Blood of Yahshua HaMashiah (the Messiah) has emerged in fulfillment of Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 20:34-37.
This remnant of Torah instructed and observant redeemed believers no longer call upon the manmade names of religious icons. They no longer follow church teachings that have disengaged themselves from YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Torah instructions. They no longer worship, pray to, sing to, or write about pagan “gods,” religious “icons” with manmade names. They are renewed in their relationship with their Creator who came to give Himself as the sacrifice for their sins of idolatry. They no longer have the sin of idolatry on their record before YHVH (Yahweh).
A SIMILARITY BETWEEN YHVH’S PROPHETIC WORD REGARDING THE EXODUS AND THE JUDGMENT PERIOD
There is a similarity between YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) prophetic Word that He gave to Abram (Abraham) in Bereshith (Genesis) 15:3, and was fulfilled by the Exodus of the 12 Tribes of Yisrael from their captivity in Mitsrayim (Egypt) after 430 years of slavery, and Yisrael’s Judgment Period that was extended in time unto our generation.
FIRST SIMILARITY
Bereshith (Genesis) 15:13 states, “And He said to Abram, ‘Know for certain that your seed (descendants) are to be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them, and they shall afflict them (place them in slavery) four hundred years.”
Abram’s (Abraham’s) people, the descendants of the 12 Tribes of Yisrael (Ya‘akov/Jacob), went into Mitsrayim (Egypt), a pagan land; a land not their own. Generations later, the descendants of Abraham would also be scattered in the gentile (pagan heathen) lands, lands that were not theirs.
In pagan lands, both groups of Abraham’s descendants would serve gentile peoples, pagan kingdoms, and participate in pagan religions. Both groups would become enslaved by idolatry through the worship of pagan “gods” over the course of hundreds of years of willful participation in various forms of sun-god worship, ancient and modern forms of idolatry.
The ancient people of YHVH (Yahweh) fell back into idolatry almost immediately after being released from slavery in Mitsrayim (Egypt). Shemoth (Exodus) 32 tells us how they fashioned a golden hap-bull, symbol of Egypt’s sun-god, while Moshe was on the mountain receiving the Stone Tablets.
The latter group of Abram’s (Abraham’s) descendants would also participate in idolatrous religions, and become enslaved by idolatry, and continue in them until the Judgment Period ended.
The course of a cleverly designed idolatrous religion that would entrap redeemed people for many generations emerged almost immediately after the original apostles died. Through the spread of a Greco-Roman form of the Besarot (Gospel) of a Savior that would forgive men of their sins gained converts from the idolatrous religions. But when the original apostles died, the original Messianic faith that was Torah based became polluted and tainted with idolatry to become virtually non-existent. Unfortunately, the “gentile” converts retained a spirit of idolatry in their minds, and instituted a new version of the ancient Yarob’am (Jeroboam) religion.
Under the more famous culprit, Roman Emperor Constantine, all religions in the Roman Empire were amalgamated into one “universal” (catholic means universal) religion composed of various forms of sun-god and sun-goddess worship. The Messianic faith was despised; anything resembling the “Jews” was done away with. YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Feast Days were deleted, and pagan holidays were instituted and revered in the new religion; all of Rome’s holidays honored ancient Babylonian “gods and goddesses” handed down from the Greek civilization, and traced back to ancient Babylon.
The “gentile” religion of Rome deleted YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Shabbat/Sabbath/7th Day of Rest to honor Rome’s sun-god “Tammuz” on Sun-day, a day set aside for Rome’s highest deity. The City of Rome became the Holy City rather than YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) chosen City of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem). A pagan priesthood ruled by a pope was instituted in Rome that has no likeness to the spiritual priesthood of the redeemed believers with the Head of the Messianic Body being the Savior Himself, Yahshua HasMashiah (the Messiah). Out of Rome emerged the “universal” Catholic Church with the idolatrous mixture of Torah (priests retained copies of Torah) and idols. Yarob’am’s (Jeroboam’s) Egyptian hap-bulls became wood and plaster statues of manmade images of saints and savior revered.
Generations later, a reformation period took place recovering several aspects of the Word of YHVH (Yahweh) for the people. The Reformation was a limited purifying work of men’s souls by the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), but because the Judgment Period had not yet ended, the work was limited, and the spirit of idolatry continued like a plaque afflicting the minds of YHVH‘s (Yahweh‘s) people (from the Hebrew word “mak-keh“), reforming itself to become even more deceptive. Plaster and wood statues, and the religious trappings were deleted from the “new branch” of the Roman Catholic Church religion. The physical eye drawn to statues was no longer instrumental in the new form of worship. A cleverly designed mental image of a “gentile” savior emerged in the “new branch” of the church. It would become so deceptive, so deeply entrenched in the souls of YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) people, and embedded in their emotions that for nearly 2,000 years the manmade created “icon” called “jesus” would be thought to be the True Savior. The Catholic Church with its physically outward and blatant displays of idolatry gave birth to its daughter church, the Christian Church. The Christian Church would thrive in the basic religion of Rome but without the “beads,” “pope,” or “statues,” the trappings of Rome. Christianity would retain the holidays, the sun-day worship, and the image of a “gentile savior” that was completely disassociated from the Torah or the people of Yisrael. Through the Christian Church, the spirit of idolatry would continue to hold the minds and emotions of YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) redeemed people in religion until the Judgment Period ended.
Thus, both groups of Abram’s (Abraham’s) descendants would spend hundreds of years enslaved to idolatrous religions; the first group for a total of 430 years, the latter group for a total of 1,996 years.
SECOND SIMILARITY
Bereshith (Genesis) 15:14 states, “But the nation whom they serve I am going to judge, and afterward let them come out with great possessions.”
YHVH (Yahweh) will judge all nations that His people have been scattered into. Abraham’s first group of descendants that went into Mitsrayim (Egypt) upon release came out with great material possessions. The latter group, because the time of YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Redemption through his Savior, Yahshua (Yah’s Savior) ran simultaneously along with the Judgment Period, YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Redeemed shall come out of their Judgment Period with great spiritual possessions - Redemption, Promise of Salvation, Faith of Yahshua Ha Mashiah (the Messiah of Yisrael), the personal assistance of the Helper, the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), the Blessings of the Avrahamic Covenant, Torah, etc.
THIRD SIMILARITY
Bereshith (Genesis) 15:16 states, “Then in the fourth generation they shall return here (Eretz Yisrael, Land of Yisrael as given in the Avrahamic Covenant)….”
The ancient 12 Tribes of Abraham’s descendants returned to Eretz Yisrael (Land of Yisrael) after wandering through the wilderness for 40 years. In a similar fashion, the House of Yehudah (Judah) returned to Eretz Yisrael, and declared it to be a renewed nation in 1948. The House of Yisrael, as a whole, will be reunited with their brother Yehudah (Judah), and return to the Land of Yisrael in the near future. Already there is a very real presence of Ephraim (House of Yisrael’s other name) living in the Land of Yisrael today.
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:11-12 says, “And He said to me, ‘Son of man, these bones are all the house of Yisrael. See, they say, ‘Our bones are dry, our expectancy (hope) has perished, and we ourselves have been cut off!’ Therefore prophesy, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus said the Master YHVH (Yahweh), ‘See, O My people, I am opening your graves, and shall bring you up from your graves, and shall bring you into the land of Yisrael.”
Both Houses shall live in the Land of Yisrael once again because YHVH (Yahweh) has declared it to be so.
Bereshith (Genesis) 15:18 states, “On the same day YHVH (Yahweh) made a covenant with Abram, saying, ‘I have given this land to your seed (descendants)….”
All of these verses in Bereshith (Genesis) were fulfilled in the lives of the 12 Tribes of Yisrael when they came out of slavery for 430 years in Mitsrayim (Egypt). All of these same verses will again be fulfilled the second time as the descendants of the ancient children of Yisrael are released from the 1,996 A.D. Judgment Period, and go into the Land of Yisrael in the near future.
FOURTH SIMILARITY
Just before coming out of Mitsrayim (Egypt), the 12 Tribes of Yisrael were told to slaughter a spotless lamb for each family to eat, and place its blood on the lintel and doorposts of their dwelling places. With the blood appearing on the doorposts of their houses, YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) redemption was provided for the children of Yisrael as the Death Angel passed over their houses on the night of Pesach (Passover). Their release from 430 years of slavery came into their lives that night.
The latter day children of Yisrael have also had redemption provided for them through the sacrifice of the spotless Lamb of Elohim, Yahshua HaMashiah (the Messiah of Yisrael), the Savior of the world. As a result, they have been redeemed, and in 1996 A.D. their release from enslavement to religious “icons” has come into their lives as well. It is their choice now to be free of religion or remain in it.
FIFTH SIMILARITY
The ancient Yisraelites were released from hard physical slavery in Mitsrayim (Egypt), and were given 40 years to wander through the wilderness so that the generation of Yisraelites that had participated in idolatry would die off. YHVH (Yahweh) did not want His Torah to be mixed with idolatry that they had learned in the pagan nation. From the whole nation of descendants of those that had entered into the pagan land 430 years before, only a small Torah instructed remnant entered into the Promised Land of Kennan (Canaan) under the guidance of Yehoshua (Joshua).
Many people that are alive today have been redeemed during the Judgment Period, but they have practiced idolatry in the churches. The Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit of YHVH) is actively calling people out of the churches, and its idolatrous worship of manmade religious “icons” to return to YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Torah instructions. In this age, YHVH (Yahweh) does not want His Torah mixed with idolatry anymore than in ancient times. Will this generation die out too? Or will this generation produce a small Torah instructed remnant that will return to Eretz Yisrael, the Promised Land?
It is very possible that this is the generation that will produce a Torah instructed remnant that will return to Eretz Yisrael in fulfillment of ancient prophecy. But it may also be the generation that will die off (or be spiritually cut off the Tree of Yisrael; the family of Yisrael) because of their stubbornness, and unwillingness to repent of their participation in the idolatrous church.
Because we have already seen several similarities between the first Exodus, and the release from the Judgment Period in our time, we maybe privileged to see a modern day exodus of Yisraelites from the religious system of idolatry. We may also see a Torah instructed remnant enter into the Promised Land of Return too. This is very possible. If we take the year 1996 A.D. that ended the Judgment Period, and add 1 generation of 40 years to that year, we may see a projected time of the Return (1996 A.D. + 40 years = 2,036 A.D.)
SIXTH SIMILARITY
During their wandering in the Desert of Sinai for forty years, the ancient children of Yisrael were basically fed a lean diet of food called “manna” that barely kept them alive. Likewise, the latter children of Yisrael have wandered in “desert” lands of the pagan nations, and only fed a “lean” diet of spiritual food in the religions of the world, namely Christianity and Catholicism, barely enough to keep them spiritually alive, even to the point of “spiritual starvation.” Church theology has withheld the life giving spiritual nourishment served at the Master’s Table, the Torah. Without Torah instructions to be the foundation of their faith, many Christians have been literally starving for YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) spiritual food. They have lived on a spiritual diet of a watered-down version of the Besarot (Gospel), partaking of polluted and contaminated teachings from religious pulpits. As a result, their spirits are ill-nourished, wasting away. They are weak and vulnerable to the enemy’s religious lies and deceptions. Some are hanging onto their faith by a thread, others have given up their salvation to return to the pagan world.
HOW DO REDEEMED PEOPLE TODAY FIT INTO THIS JUDGMENT PERIOD?
If you live in this generation and have been redeemed prior to 1996 A.D. or thereafter, you can be sure that you are a descendant of the ancient children of Yisrael either by being a blood descendent, your line preserved by Elohim throughout the centuries, or by right of adoption into the family of Yisrael upon redemption. During the Judgment Period, the Besarot (Gospel) reached your ears, and by faith you believed. You found that you could be forgiven of your sins, and you accepted the Savior’s Death to be your means of redemption.
However, for those of us that were redeemed prior to, and up to the very end of the Judgment Period in 1996 A.D., we are truly redeemed and the Promise of Salvation.
But, we must understand that our souls, that which contain our minds and emotions, have participated in the idolatrous worship of religion, mainly Christianity and Catholicism, and their offshoot religions, because we all fell under the timing of the Judgment Period for the sin of idolatry. Yes, we were redeemed during that time, and given the Promise of Salvation, but we must be truthful, the Redeemed have walked in rebellion to YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Word. We have walked (believed) in the false teachings of the church rather than the teachings of YHVH (Yahweh) written in the Torah. We thought in the mindset of religious indoctrination, which is idolatry. Religion that is found in the churches has been very cleverly designed so that it will be accepted as truth by the Redeemed. But it has been designed to give homage to a manmade “created” savior; a savior that has been whitewashed and “glamorized;” a savior that has no real identity, Name, or character of the real Savior that is found in the Torah, Prophets and Writings.
When we fully realize that we participated in the sin of idolatry as our ancestors did, we will then realize all the more the redemptive work accomplished by Yahshua, the Savior of the world. The Father was well aware that His children and the whole world, except for Torah observant Jews, would be worshipping “idols and icons” linked to sun-god worship. In His infinite wisdom, mercy and compassion, He provided the perfect atonement for the sin of idolatry. He sent His son, Yahshua (Hebrew Name of the Son of Elohim that means “Yah’s Savior”) to give Himself up to be the ultimate sacrifice on the “cross” or the T-shaped instrument of crucifixion that was used by the Romans for sacrificing humans to their sun-god “Tammuz.” By Yahshua being the ultimate sacrifice to please the Father for the world’s lust for idolatry, He was able to bring the Father’s forgiveness for this sin. The Redeemed were forgiven of the their sin of idolatry during the Judgment Period, and we were not held responsible for the sin because Yahshua paid the price for the sin of idolatry. But the Judgment Period held us in bondage to the sin mentality until the time of judgment was over just like the ancient tribes were held in slavery in Egypt until the four hundred years had passed. In both accounts, the time had to be fulfilled. This is a hard teaching to believe, but it lines up with all the Scriptures that have been presented in this study.
Since 1996 A.D., all of YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) redeemed people have the ability now to leave idolatrous religions behind them, to leave the “slavery,” the bondage of religion. They can come out of the churches, and repent of the worship of manmade “icons.” They can regain a fresh new relationship with their Savior and Creator through repentance of all those old religious things. They can be renewed in their minds, and return to YHVH (Yahweh) with whole hearts, with all their being: heart, soul (mind) and body (strength). They have been released from the judgment time period that YHVH (Yahweh) set aside for the sin of idolatry. They are free now to learn His Name that He gave to the children of Yisrael through Mosheh (Moses) in Shemoth (Exodus) 3:15, the Name that He wants them to know and to use in prayer, praise, and song. His Name YHVH (Yahweh) appears in all Hebrew manuscripts, and all can know the information regarding the Name. YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Name will no longer be hidden by translators of the Bibles without a prophetic “cry in the wilderness“ going out to redeemed people declaring, “People don‘t be deceived anymore! The Savior‘s Name is YHVH (Yahweh/Yahshua).” YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Ruach (Spirit) is enabling the Creator and Savior’s Name to be revealed to everyone today because the Judgment Period has ended, and His Name is Eternal, to be now known forevermore by His People Yisrael.
Shemoth (Exodus) 3:15 says, “And Elohim said further to Mosheh (Moses), ‘Thus you are to say to the children of Yisrael, YHVH (Yahweh) Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Yitzhak (Isaac), and the Elohim of Ya’acob (Jacob), has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations.”
Now that the Judgment Period has ended, the blindfolds of religion can come off. Redeemed people are now able to shed, throw off all the layers of church indoctrination.
Church indoctrination was very cleverly and subtly developed over the centuries to intentionally confuse and confound men’s minds to support a religion that would keep YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) people enslaved through idol worship. Today, we have been released from those religions. We are free now to learn YHVH’s (Yahweh’s) Torah instructions that will bring only the blessings of our Creator and Savior. We now have the ability to understand HaBrit Chadasha (the New Testament) teachings of Yahshua in their fullest intent, and to know that they are based on His original Torah commandments. We no longer have to yield to a confused state of mind that separates the First Covenant from the Renewed Covenant.
The separation or partition that church theology placed between the “old” and “new” covenants can now be torn down and thrown out completely. Redeemed people now have the ability to understand that the Renewed Covenant (formerly known as the New Testament) is the original Covenant renewed, not a “new” and “separate” covenant devised just for Christians and the church.
The Nevi’im (Prophets) can now be fully understood by all the Redeemed. The church was never able to understand the Books of the Prophets, and therefore, assumed that the Savior had instituted a new religion based solely on the “New Testament” Greek manuscripts. Church theology excluded major portions of the Prophets’ words because their words seemed to have been projected just for the Jews. Other prophecies were overlooked because they were believed to have no real fulfillment, or they were of no interest to the church, and thereby were dismissed because they did not pertain to the church. Otherwise, better said, “The Prophets did not see the existence of the church. Therefore, the church is separate from the Jews and the Law.” This is man’s carnal reasoning based on religious idolatry, not actual Scriptural Truth.
Your eyes can be open now, your spirits freed, your minds liberated - YOU CAN COME OUT OF THE CHURCH NOW !!! THE JUDGMENT PERIOD HAS ENDED.
